Hemingway Cottage, Key West

This was the home of Ernest Hemingway, from 1931 until his death in 1961. It was here that he wrote "To have or Have Not,"  a story about Key West during the Depression.

While painting this picture on the sidewalk outside the walls of the home, the caretaker came out and thanked me for doing "a great job" and  invited me  in for a tour.
